To celebrate the upcoming release of my third novel, Driving in Neutral—a love story about claustrophobia—I am running the 75 Days of Phobia series. Yes, I know seventy-fives days, that’s a lot.
A hell of a lot.
But you know what? As Olivia, the heroine in Driving in Neutral says to Maxwell the claustrophobe, “Everyone’s afraid of something.” I’m not going to run out of phobias any time soon.
Just ask author Louise Forster. She really likes to keep her ‘sunny side up…’
Okay, this not so much a phobia more a cringe.
As long as I can remember, I’ve had a gut-churning aversion to that white, sometimes stringy, globby thing attached to an egg yolk.
Often there’s two of them, (double the cringe) one on each side, clearly visible lying there in the fry pan or bowl.
The glob has to go.
Ovophobia. It means I’m not cooking eggs, omelets, cakes, meringues for anyone with the glob thing still there…
Louise writes small town romance, sexy heroes, and strong, sassy heroines, Women’s fiction, Unforgettable love stories. Find out more about Louise and her books www.louiseforster.com. Her latest, Home Truths, is out now!
