Invisible? Not Me!

Invisible? LIKE HELL WE ARE!
I love Sharon and Wonder Woman–I mean Anita Heiss–because it’s great when someone other than me says crossing over past 40 doesn’t make you dead.

I was out with my tidda Sharon Mahony, pictured below. On the drive home she told me how she often feels like she is ignored by sales staff when out shopping. She felt, as she discusses below, INVISIBLE! I asked her to pen a few words to see how widespread this dismissing of women in ‘a certain age bracket’ is. Women, as Sharon points out, have money to spend and continue to contribute to family and community well after they have retired. I’d love to hear from others who have had the same experience… so feel free to share your comments.

To some it seems I’ve reached the age of ‘invisibiliy’! I have no doubt there are other ladies, who like me, are in the absolute prime of life (nifty fifties and sexy sixties) and can also relate to the odd ‘invisible’ episode!
